Purchase two (2) three ounce bottles of Fleet
Phospho-soda (ginger-lemon flavor or regular) at the pharmacy. Please
obtain this laxative several days before you need to start your prep.
Some pharmacies may have to order this prep for you.
Day before the examination:
-
Have a normal breakfast and lunch. Drink clear liquids for dinner
only (no red Jell-O).
-
At 7:00 PM add three (3) ounces Fleet Phospho-soda to one (1) 8 ounce glass
of water or clear fruit juice (apple, grape or cranberry) and drink slowly

-
Drink at least three (3) 8 ounce portions of clear liquids before retiring
for the evening, more if desired.

or if the return is not clear, please call Dr. Hasan (338-8182) or the

-
If you are Diabetic and on insulin, check with the doctor for special dietary
and insulin instructions.
